All in the Detail

In these two styles detail is everything. Pictured at the top is a softly pinned up-do that features curls and loops with a braid that intertwines throughout the style. This style represents an innocent youthful look with a glamorous twist. The inspiration for this style was a photo my client brought to me of Taylor Swift. She absolutely loved it! It was a perfect fit for her and her Prom night. Pictured below is yet another detailed style. This urban chic look is such a representation of my client. She is very original in her own style and I wanted to show that in her hair. She let me have free reign in coming up with this look for her. The result was a unique style that reminded me a little of something you would see in an Anthropology catalog, which I love. She looked adorable!

Bridal 2010

I am so excited to share with you this collection of Bridal looks! Each model is wearing a style that is very different. Hopefully it will inspire you in figuring out what you may be looking for on your special day. I am so thankful for all the wonderful models Ashley, Nikki, Melody, Katie and Christina who donated their time, hair and beautiful faces. I would also like to thank Marci De Leon who did the amazing make up and Glenn Singley who did the photography.

Swept up

These girls are beautiful! Pictured at the top is my sister Christina. She was attending a wedding that evening and I wanted to give her something soft, sophisticated and chic. It was a perfect match to her little black dress! Pictured below is Britney. She too was going to be attending a wedding. Britney was going for a style that was original and up. A soft loosely curled of to the side style looked absolutely amazing on her! These looks always work well on anyone. No matter the face shape or hair texture. I must say they are one of my favorite styles to do!

Pretty as a Flower

Hair accessories are another way to express your personal style. I always believe it is a great way to continue the theme of your wedding or event you are attending. With these three clients they all have chosen a simple white flower. It's a soft romantic look that in its femininity is timeless. Whether it be a more classic up-do or a hair style that is soft with loose curls it works!

Here comes the Bride

This is Jamie, she is a great friend of mine. I had the honor of styling her hair for her wedding last spring. She looked absolutely amazing! Jamie was looking for a look that was soft yet romantic that was timeless and classic. At the time Jamie had hair that was just above the shoulder and she wanted to have the illusion of longer hair. So I recommended using extensions. She did not want anything too permanent so I used clip-ins and matched them to her real hair color. The result was perfection! She loved it and I was so happy to make her vision a reality. Jamie was a beautiful glowing bride. Her makeup was done by my good friend Marci De Leon. Marci did such a beautiful job bringing out Jamie's eyes and creating a soft timeless look.
