Brandie

Simple and sweet. Love this, it makes just enough of a statement. Brandie wanted something that wasn't going to be too much, considering she was in the wedding party and didn't want to outshine the bride. I think this turned out so pretty and with the adorable hair pin the bride gave her to use, it complimented the style perfectly.

Sarah

Ok, so i really do love what I do! Weddings, Special events, anything that you need to get dressed up for and celebrate! Its about good times, family and friends! This time however I was in the wedding as a member of the Bridal Party. My dear friend Sarah, whom I also work with on many events, she does make up, was tying the knot! It was such an amazing wedding! It could not have gone better, the day was perfect! I of course did her hair as well as mine and a couple girls in the wedding party. It was a very busy morning but went rather smoothly. Sarah of course was beautiful, she even did her own make up. Her bridal party also looked amazing, if I do say so myself, complimenting her quite smashingly.

Kelli

Yet another beautiful bride I had the opportunity to take care of! Kelli was such a sweetheart. I was able to recreate the hair she wore in Hawaii for her California wedding reception. It turned out perfect! She was so happy and mentioned she liked how the style turned out more then the style in Hawaii! What a compliment! Thanks Kelli!

Reunion!

Reunion! It is always so much fun to see old friends! It's also a great opportunity to look your best and put your best appearance forward.
Pictured above is my friend Blake and I, we went to high school together. She graduated a year prior to me and called me up to get her ready for the high school reunion. It was so much fun visiting with her and catching up! Blake was going for loose curls and fresh make up. I always think that is a great way to go! She was so happy with how it turned out and she looked amazing!

Aimee

I really loved this up do on Aimee! It suited the theme of her wedding and dress so well. Aimee chose to wear her grandmothers wedding dress. It was beautiful and obviously very vintage. We both wanted the style to reflect that. With a side part and soft "S" pattern wave that continued into pin curls it created that vintage appeal. Aimee's hair accessories were no exception the over sized flower head band and bird cage netting that would later drape the front of her face completed the ensemble.

Heidi

It was such a pleasure taking care of Heidi on her wedding day. She was such an exceptionally sweet person! She was so pleased with how it turned out. I met Heidi that morning to style her hair for her wedding. She was looking for something simple and sweet, such a reflection of her. With only have talked with Heidi over the phone and sharing a couple emails of photos of styles she was interested in, that morning went really well!
I always recommend having a trial a couple weeks before the day of a wedding. Having a trial is a great opportunity for the bride to be. It allows her to meet with the stylist, discuss ideas and questions as well as run through a style she has chosen. Most importantly it should make the bride feel at ease knowing what to expect the day of the wedding.

Kristina

Being a Bride can be a bit overwhelming. With so many expectations for that big day, your hair is no exception. So many brides grow their hair out in order to achieve a look they have been admiring. While having longer hair may give you more styles to choose from, it doesn't necessarily mean it has to limit you on the style you choose. You may have anticipated your hair being a bit longer for the big day, if not don't worry. Creating an illusion is key. Kristina was such a wonderful bride. At the time her hair was shoulder length and her vision was to have it all pinned up. Her only stipulation, an up do that had volume and an illusion she had more then really was there. It turned out beautiful. She was so happy! With just the right placement you can create just about anything.

Attending a Wedding...

Attending a wedding is such a momentous occasion. One that will be captured and preserved in photos for years to come. You'll want to make sure you look your best! Whether it be as a guest or a member of the wedding party. I think its great to do a little pampering for yourself too. These two Bridesmaids pictured above look beautiful.

All in the Detail

In these two styles detail is everything. Pictured at the top is a softly pinned up-do that features curls and loops with a braid that intertwines throughout the style. This style represents an innocent youthful look with a glamorous twist. The inspiration for this style was a photo my client brought to me of Taylor Swift. She absolutely loved it! It was a perfect fit for her and her Prom night. Pictured below is yet another detailed style. This urban chic look is such a representation of my client. She is very original in her own style and I wanted to show that in her hair. She let me have free reign in coming up with this look for her. The result was a unique style that reminded me a little of something you would see in an Anthropology catalog, which I love. She looked adorable!
